CHANGE OF VENUE

I was given the dates 7th - 10th Nov 2008 for Speedfreaks 4 way back in October last year, these dates were even printed in the Speedfreaks 3 programme.

Recently I find out that Pontins have also announced their scooter weekender for the same date, despite their website saying different at the time. After numerous meetings and calls to Pontins at Hemsby and Head Office, they then tell me I have to change the date, after giving me the weekend 7th - 10th Nov and letting me advertise it for nearly FOUR months.

With all the bands booked and lots of tickets sold this would have been a logistical nightmare not to mention financial suicide. I have been forced to find an alternative venue.

Speedfreaks 4 will now be at The Haven Holiday Centre, Golden Sands, Mablethorpe, Lincs on 7th - 10th November 2008.

The facilities and levels of accommodation are far superior on this site.

I know this now clashes with Pontins Scooter weekender, but hopefully as an independant event people will support The Speedfreaks Ball so it can continue to be the leading Punk, Psychobilly, Oi and Ska festival.
